Squish
Funny story: We were riding to CEC this morning and Otis kept asking me
to ride through the big puddles. I didn't because it wasn't raining
that hard and there was a decent chance that we would get there without
being too wet; but then the roof came off and we got drenched so I did.
I went through a nice big puddle at the corner of 9th and Addison near
that house you like. It must have been 6 inches deep! Otis squealed
and laughed. It was fun. A big spray out to the sides of the front
tire.

Then I remembered that Emmett is only about 5 inches off the ground back
there in the trailer and the bottom of the seat has a rip in the outer
shell, letting water in. When I got to CEC and parked under the
overhang and unloaded the boys I opened the trailer cover and Emmett was
sitting there smiling, with drops of water on his face, pants soaked,
diaper soaked, shoes soaked. HUGE GRIN. I got him out and he squiggled
for joy while Otis splashed in the puddles near the sidewalk.
Good thing we had a change of clothes for him at CEC. No pictures
because my phone was tucked away in the dry bag. The rest of the ride
this morning was fine, but I'm glad I got that huge grin. It was worth
the wet feet.
